*Some of my glazes flow more than others, this is intentional. Please look closely at the photos and video to make sure you are happy with the fluidity of the glazes.

Candy Bug 11
Porcelain Candy Bugs are colorful, well made, and just a little smaller than a dinner plate (about 9”hx10”wx3”d).
Each bug is press-molded and layered with a variety of juicy glazes that flux and flow in the kiln. I develop and mix each glaze from scratch, adding new colors seasonally. My goal is to create playful surfaces full of depth and character. I am very specific about my colors and color combinations but I love the unexpected drip and the random fleck or bubble that results from layering.
Candy Bugs are designed to hang on the wall (using a drywall screw or two) and can be turned in any direction.
