Krista Grecco
is a full-time sculptor working in porcelain. Inspired by the natural world, Art Deco, and vintage toys, she creates sculptures with stylized forms, vibrant color, and a strong sense of presence. Outside the studio, that curiosity extends into daily life. Most mornings, she can be found outside homeschooling her son among the pine trees and ferns near Atlanta—spying on deer, marveling at mushrooms, and classifying caterpillars while picking up and recycling interesting bits of garbage.
Grecco earned her B.F.A. from Alfred University and her M.F.A. from The Ohio State University. She exhibits and lectures internationally, and her work is held in public and private collections, including the Ariana Museum of Ceramics and Glass; Emory Decatur Hospital; and Orlando International Airport (Delta Air Lines). Her work and process have been featured in 500 Figures in Clay, American Craft, New Ceramics, Ceramics Monthly, and Ceramics: TECHNICAL.
